De-RossiDaniele De Rossi may be experiencing his final season as a Roma player with an offer to play in Major League Soccer under consideration.

The tough-tackling midfielder has been in terrible form of late and despite scoring the winner at the weekend against Cesena, has been scape-goated in some quarters for his club’s recent slump, given that he is one of the highest paid players in Serie A.

Having also been snubbed by Italian national team coach Antonio Conte for the next set of Azzurri matches, La Gazzetta Dello Sport is reporting that De Rossi may well feel his time in the Peninsula is over and will seriously contemplate a move to the USA.

The pink daily also suggests that the two New York football franchises have made contact with the 31-year-old, in the hope they can tempt him to try a new sporting adventure in America.
