Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva has revealed that his club is indeed one of the many teams throughout Europe that have been interested in signing Juventus star Paul Pogba.

The 22-year-old has attracted the attention of numerous European giants this season besides the Ligue 1 side, including Real Madrid and Manchester City, though he has previously expressed his desire to one day play in France’s capital once his journey with the Bianconeri comes to a close, which could put PSG as favourites to land him.

Silva spoke to Le Parisien about Pogba being one of football’s hottest transfer targets and confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to secure his services.

“Pogba is a player who is followed by many teams throughout Europe, with one of those teams being PSG,” said the Brazilian international.

The Juve midfielder, who picked up a muscle injury in the Old Lady’s recent 3-0 Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund, has scored seven goals and provided three assists in his 22 Serie A appearances this term thus far.
