After this weekends goalless draw with Atalanta, Udinese’s Giampiero Pinzi has made it clear that the Bianconeri are satisfied with the hard-earned point in Bergamo.

The midfielder from Rome who has served Udine for 12 seasons played the full 90 minutes. Udinese have only won one of their last six game before the trip to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri D’Italia.

The 34-year-old vice-captain told Udinese’s official channel: ‘For us it is a positive point on a difficult pitch, in a fiery atmosphere. We knew that we would be dealt a tough game and full of battles in midfield.

“We tried to play the game well especially from the point of view of attitude. We must improve as always, but today it was important not to lose.’

Udinese, now sit 12th in Serie A after their draw with the Serie A strugglers, who languish 17th.
