Atalanta director Pierpaolo Marino has confirmed that Roma are interested in highly-rated fullback Davide Zappacosta and goalkeeper Marco Sportiello.
The two youngsters have been impressive performers in what has been a struggling season for the Orobici, and have thus been linked with a number of top sides in the past few months.
Marino confirmed to Corriere dello Sport before the 1-1 draw against the Giallorossi on Sunday afternoon, that their opponents were tracking the duo.
“I can say for certain that Roma are following Zappacosta and Sportiello,” Marino said.
“Reja? We needed direction. He has brought us serenity without revolutionizing the club, and he continued the good work left by Colantuono.”
