Cesena forward Franco Brienza praised his side’s response after coming from behind to draw 3-3 with Hellas Verona.
“Going down three goals can kill anyone’s spirits, but we had nothing to lose,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“We created a great response and benefited from our opponent relaxing, we did very well to get level.”
Brienza played his part in his side’s recovery with an exquisite goal from a long distance set piece.
“Today was a point gained, when you recover from being 3-0 down it’s a great psychological boost.”
Cesena continue to languish in the Serie A relegation zone, four points from 17th placed Atalanta.
