Cana: Lazio made too many mistakes against Juventus

Lazio defender Lorik Cana reflected on his team’s 2-0 loss away to Juventus on Saturday night, pointing out the decisive mistakes which forced defeat upon them.

The Aquile’s defensive errors allowed Carlos Tevez and Leonardo Bonucci  to pounce and stop Lazio in their tracks, coming off an eight-game winning streak.

Cana conceded that they had no one but themselves to blame after the loss, and aims to return to previous ways after such a lacking performance .

“We came here to play with the same mentality, but playing against Juventus isn’t easy,” he said to Sky Sport Italia.

“They scored from their only two chances in the game, and it was too difficult to get back into the game.

“Our errors cost us dearly, and it was down to our inability to communicate.

“Now we have big games ahead of us, and we will try to win them all.

“We have a great team that plays very well, with a lot of spirit.”
