Chelsea are reportedly seen as the favourites to land Inter star striker Mauro Icardi once the season comes to a close.
The 22-year-old, whose current contract with the Nerazzurri is set to expire in June 2018, has been in great form for the San Siro outfit this campaign which has seen him linked to several big clubs throughout Europe including the Blues and Real Madrid, though the Premier League team seem most ready to make an offer for his services.
According to Metro, Real Madrid have hesitated to chase the Argentine international due to his attitude troubles, which has caused Chelsea to apparently prepare a €30 million bid for his signature in hopes of convincing him to make the move to England this summer.
Icardi, who arrived at Inter from Sampdoria in the summer of 2013, has scored 16 goals and provided five assists in his 28 Serie A appearances for the Biscione this term thus far.
