Stefan de Vrij has both thanked and reassured Lazio fans, prompted by there recent passionate support and more than 700 of them seeing the team depart from the capital to Napoli for the second leg of their Coppa Itailia semi-final.
The 23-year-old, Dutch international has been a main stay in the Biancocelesti defence this season, which has seen them concede just 28 goals.
Using his official Twitter account de Vrij said: “Thanks for the support, we will give everything tomorrow [Thursday v Napoli]”.
De Vrij has made 26 appearances in all competitions since his move from Feyenoord in the summer.
