Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco wants his players to cut out costly errors following defeat to Atalanta on Sunday afternoon.
Di Francesco watched on as the Neroverdi gave away a penalty to lose 2-1 to La Dea in the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
“In the first half [Paolo] Cannavaro went close to scoring, then Atalanta exploited us,” the tactician told Rai Sport.
“We cannot afford to make mistakes against a team that always fights. We were too naive and conceded the second goal.
“Looking at today’s game, or the league table, I can say that we have made too many individual errors. Most of these errors are little things that we need to improve on.”
