Simone Scuffet UdineseRumors continue to persist regarding the future of teenage goalkeeper Simone Scuffet, as Fiorentina look to tempt the youngster away from current club Udinese.

The Viola are in the market for a custodian as current number one Neto looks set to leave for Juventus, leaving Ciprian Tatarusanu as the only recognised keeper in the squad.

According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are ready to offer the Zebrette €1 million as an initial loan payment for the first season and then a further €6 million to buy the player outright.  This would be an ideal scenario for Vincenzo Montella giving him one of Italy’s most exciting future prospects between the sticks.

Scuffet burst on the scene during the last campaign and has already made 16 league appearances for the Friulani at the age of 18, but is not considered a first choice pick under coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
