Inter defender Juan Jesus feels that the Nerazzurri can move up the Serie A table and that the players must have no regrets by the end of the season.

Jesus helped Inter secure an important win against Roma to breathe new life into their faint hopes of securing European football next season and the Brazilian knows that the club can fight their way up the table.

“We have a wide variety of games left to play, we can still do better in the standings,” the defender told Mediaset Premium after the game.

“We have to take as many points as possible from here and end the season with no regrets.”

The 23-year-old also discussed the way the game against Roma unfolded.

“We certainly had a great game, we did what the coach asked of us,” he said.

“We defeated a Roma side who have had a great season, we are happy to pick up the three points.

“We still have six games left and we have to do our best and see what happens at the end of the season.”

Jesus then briefly spoke of Manchester City midfielder and Inter transfer target Yaya Toure.

“Toure? If he arrives, he could give us a lot, because he’s a great player,” he said.
