Juventus have received a two-match closure of the Curva Sud after crowd trouble marred their 2-1 defeat to Torino in the Derby della Mole on April 26.

The match at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino was marked by violence as Granata fans pelted the Juve team bus with missiles before a Bianconeri supporter injured several spectators by throwing a paper bomb into the Curva Primavera.

Lega Serie A announced that sporting court judge Gianpaolo Tosel, assisted by Stefania Ginesio and Eugenio Tenneriello, have handed Juventus a partial stadium closure after an initial delay while evidence was collected.

The decision means that supporters will not be allowed in the Curva Sud for the Old Lady’s final two Serie A matches at the Juventus Stadium of the season against Cagliari and Napoli.

Both Juventus and Torino have also been fined €50,000 as part of the punishment.
