Krajnc: Point gives Cesena confidence and conviction

Luka Krajnc spoke after Cesena’s 0-0 draw against Sampdoria on Saturday in Serie A, satisfied with the point his team collected.

The Cesena 18th in Serie A and fighting for survival, gaining a point away from home but one that gets them little closer to safety.

In spite of Cesena’s dire situation, Krajnc was bullish of Cesena’s survival hopes.

“We had to play our game and so we did and gave it everything we had,” Krajnc said to Sky Sport Italia.

“The point gives us confidence and conviction [of securing Serie A survival]; in a week’s time, we will be back to and try again.”
