Hellas Verona midfielder Jacopo Sala could return to the Premier League with Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old Italian youth international, whose contract is set to expire in June 2016, returned from a muscular injury for the Gialloblu in early January and has ever since been in impressive form for the Serie A side.
According to TGGialloblu.it, Sala is attracting interest from the English Premier League with Liverpool the main protagonists.
At the moment, there are no concrete details of any offers for Sala, but the valuation of the player would be around €2-3 million, which will, however, depend on whether Verona extend Sala’s contract or will be forced to sell him in the summer to receive at least a small compensation.
Sala already spent four years in England with Chelsea’s youth team, before being sold to Hamburg in 2011.
