Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has admitted that he is surprised by the behaviour of his teammates.
The Spaniard, who joined the current Serie A leaders from Real Madrid, has been forging a place in the Juventus line-up on the pitch, linking up well with his colleagues. He is seemingly settling in just as well away from the pitch.
“There is one thing that surprised me so much when I arrived here,” he told Tuttosport, “There is no one in the Juventus locker room that acts more important than others, even those who have been world champions and are football legends.
“Here everyone eats with each other, everyone talks to one another, it’s a normal life…for me it was amazing being able to talk about something with the likes of [Gianluigi] Buffon, with [Andrea] Pirlo.
“They give me a hand with anything and have helped me so much. This is not a normal thing for a great team.”
