Napoli are targeting Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic as a replacement for Rafael Benitez, who is looking increasingly likely to leave the club this summer.
Benitez’s contract is up at the end of this season and Napoli are reportedly at an advanced stage of talks with Mihajlovic to take his place.
According to Tuttosport, Mihajlovic has already agreed a pre-contract to take up the reigns at Stadio San Paolo, what with his own deal with Samp coming to an end at the conclusion of the campaign.
He has led the Blucerchiati to an impressive fifth place in Serie A and Samp president Massimo Ferrero is desperate to keep hold of the Serb, though it appears Mihajlovic will be tempted away.
