Napoli are thought to be considering former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo as a possible replacement for Rafael Benitez.
Parentopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis has reportedly decided that the Spaniard’s time with Napoli is up following their Coppa Italia exit, as well as their poor Serie A position – sixth.
According to Sport Mediaset, Napoli have Di Matteo as one of their primary candidates along side Luciano Spalletti, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Eusebio Di Francesco.
Di Matteo won the Champions League in 2012 whilst in charge of Chelsea, but was sacked just eight months after taking the job.
He is now coach of German side Schalke, who he has taken to fifth place in the Bundesliga standings.
