Parma forward Ishak Belfodil has admitted he’s likely to leave Parma for free this Summer.

The Gialloblu have massive financial woes to attend to and are preparing to lose their top players.

Belfodil spoke to FCInterNews.it following a shock 1-1 draw with Inter in their Serie A weekend fixture.

“I think the team played a good game, the result has embarrassed Inter and gives us hope,” he began. “We expected Inter to give us problems, they struggled but have quality players and need confidence.”

The 23 year-old Algerian rejoined Parma in 2014 after a disappointing stint with the Nerazzurri.

“We have always, even with the financial problems, tried our best on the field,” he continued.

With speculation rife over his future, Belfodil was prepared to comment on his situation.

“I have a few games to show my worth, it would be easier to join a team for no fee. It depends on the offers, but my agent is working on a solution,” he concluded.

Belfodil has played 17 games for Parma but has yet to find the net.
