Debt-ridden Parma have been valued at around €50 million as they look for investors to run the club in the future.

With their relegation from Serie A all but assured, the Ducali are hoping to restart from Serie B next season, but would need to make financial assurances in order to do so.

Mayor of Parma Federico Pizzarotti spoke to Teleducati to reveal the price tag he expects for the club.

“It would be enough for someone to put in €40-50 million. We feel that whoever arrives not only buys the club, but also costs to go on running it.

“After all, if we want to return to Serie A you have to spend something.”

The latest leg of Parma’s hunt for a new owner will be a major initiative shown on Sky Sport, due to be launched on Thursday.
