Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has congratulated Fiorentina on their recent victory over the Genoese outfit.
The Viola ran out 2-0 winners at the Artemio Franchi in Florence courtesy second-half goals from Alessandro Diamanti and Mohamed Salah in Round 29 of Serie A 2014/15.
“One loss does not hurt anyone,” he told La Nazione.
“Fiorentina played a good game and won with merit.”
The popular film producer and entrepreneur then took selfies with the fans and spent time interacting with the people in a city he says is almost like home.
