Klose - Lazio v EmpoliThe Brazilian side Sao Paulo have made an offer to sign the veteran striker Miroslav Klose from Lazio.

The 36-year-old will be available on a free transfer in the summer but he is also considering a contract renewal with the Biancocelesti to keep him in Serie A for a fifth consecutive season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sao Paulo have made a surprise offer to take Klose to the country where he won the World Cup with Germany.

Teams from Major League Soccer and the Bundesliga are also reportedly interested in signing the former Bayern Munich man on a free transfer.

It has been reported that Klose already has an agreement in place to sign a new contract with Lazio although the player wants time to think and make up his mind before putting pen to paper.

The Aquile hope that his contract can be sorted out by the end of April, rather than in June when his current deal expires to avoid excessive speculation about the player’s future.
