Sassuolo are interested in the services of PAOK goal-machine Stefanos Athanasiadis, as they look to life after Simone Zaza and Domenico Berardi.
The 26-year-old Greek international has spent his whole career at the Greek giants, coming up through the youth system to make his first-team debut in 2007.
Gazzetta TV report that Sassuolo know that they will likely have to do without their star duo Zaza and Berardi up front next season, and have started looking for replacements.
The Neroverdi have identified Athanasiadis as the perfect replacement, with the striker enjoying another prolific campaign with PAOK both domestically and in the Europa League.
Athanasiadis, who has a contract that expires with the club in 2018, has netted 17 goals in 31 matches across all competitions.
