AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien is set to return to the English Premier League this summer with newly-promoted Watford keen to land the veteran.
The 32-year-old Ghanaian international has been used sporadically by Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi throughout the season and with his contract running out in June, his adventure in Italy seems to be coming to an end.
According to English newspaper The Sun, Essien has already made a decision regarding his future with Milan management and will not continue playing for the Rossoneri next season.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid player has received many pleasing offers from England to revive his career and the player seems ready to join newly-promoted side Watford in the summer transfer window.
Essien has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Milan since joining the club in 2013.
