alex ac milanAC Milan defender Alex has said how pleased he was with his side’s victory of Roma.

The centre back, who had to leave the field early due to injury, said that he believed the defence did particularly well.

Speaking to the Milan Channel whilst attending the Huawei P8 smartphone launch at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the Brazilian spoke of his pleasure at the result.

“The last match was great, we picked up a brilliant result. We spoke about how the match went and we’re pleased.”

The centre back believed the back line played well against Roma as well as against Napoli the week before.

“We did well in defense. We also did well against Napoli, even if we then conceded three goals.”

The 32-year-old was positive about the Rossoneri’s upcoming games and hopeful of the team finishing well.

“We are on the right track, we have to continue like this and let’s hope we can keep doing even better in the next three matches and collect good results.”

The defender was also quick to reassure fans that the injury he suffered on Saturday was only minor.

“I am fine, I just suffered with cramp at the end of the match. Tomorrow we’re all back at Milanello to prepare for the next match.”

Alex has 25 appearances for Milan this season.
