Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho has attracted interest from Vincenzo Montella’s Fiorentina ahead of the summer transfer market.
The 26-year-old has become a target of the Viola following possible exits for both Alberto Aquilani, whose contract is set to expire and David Pizarro due to his constant battle with injuries.
According to La Nazione, there will be contact between the two clubs within the coming days following Fiorentina’s second leg of the Europa League semi-final against Sevilla.
It is not the first time the former Corinthians man has been linked with a move to Serie A, with Juventus, Roma and Napoli all said to have been interested in the Brazilian in the past few months.
The midfielder has only made 15 appearances for Tottenham so far this campaign, exactly half as many as he managed during the 2013/14 Premier League season.
