Adriano Galliani AC MilanAfter a confidence boosting victory over Roma at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday night, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has insisted that the club will go out to win every one of their remaining matches.

During the type of performance lacking for the majority of the campaign the Rossoneri took a two-goal lead from Marco van Ginkel and Mattia Destro, while a Francesco Totti penalty was little consolation for the Giallorossi.

“I saw a compact team [against Roma],” Galliani told Milan Channel.

“Against Napoli we played a decent game, but the officials made a difference.

“Pippo told players that victories are built during the week, and they are. Looking back is no solution.

“Me and Pippo spoke. We must try to win all of our remaining games, all three of them, then see where we are.”

In attendance with Galliani at the San Siro on Saturday night was former centre-back Thiago Silva, fuelling speculation that the Brazilian could return from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

“We are always talking,” admitted Galliani. “After each Milan match he sends me a message.

“He has much affection [for Milan], he would do everything possible to return.

“I went to pick him up at the hotel and he came very willingly. It is much about what you remember of your former team.

“He is very affectionate and very attached to Milan. He is a great.”

With Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi denying rumours he was nearing a deal to sell the club Galliani came out in support of the former Italian prime minister.

“I may be important, but I do not comment on his words,” claimed Galliani. “All I say to our fans is that the thing that is most in his heart during these activities is Milan.

“The history proves this. Long live Silvio Berlusconi.”
