Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini believes the Rosanero have to start thinking about their future after the sale of Paulo Dybala after falling 3-2 to Atalanta on Sunday.

The Argentine was left on the bench as a move away from the Rosanero looks likely for next season, but despite his absence, the tactician believes his players put on a good enough performance to take points from their match with the Nerazzurri.

“Today the result could have been different. The team had a good performance and deserved more,” Iachini told Mediaset Premium after the match.

“Lady Luck was not on our side today. I think no one can doubt our commitment. Today, if you watched the game, you would see many chances created.

“I think we have to start thinking about the future after Dybala. We have Andrea Belotti, who we believe has a lot of potential. We are also in talks with other players.

“If I will stay here next year? I have a contract with Palermo, so there are no talks of my departure from Sicily.”
