Icardi - Juventus v InterInter striker Mauro Icardi has declined the club’s latest contract offer, refusing to budge from his demands.

The Argentinian, who currently earns €1 million per year, has been the club’s top scorer this season and the side is looking to secure his services for the next few years.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri are not willing to meet the players demands of €4 million per season.

The figure would make the 22-year-old the highest paid player at the club, trumping Nemanja Vidic and Rodrigo Palacio.

The former Sampdoria striker is currently being represented by his partner Wanda Nara, as well as Ulisse Savini who is taking care of the financial details.

Icardi’s current contract expires in 2018 and both sides will continue to negotiate to find a suitable agreement.

The youngster is currently the third top scorer in Serie A behind Carlos Tevez and Luca Toni.
