Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic has been heavily linked with Inter since January, but now it seems that his future could remain in England with Liverpool.

Jovetic’s exclusion from City’s Champions League squad was a major indication that the Montenegrin striker had become surplus to requirements.

The Daily Mirror now report that it is a certainty Jovetic will leave Manchester this summer with Liverpool also a possible destination, while Inter are also keen to add more quality to their frontline.

Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool is apparently keen to strengthen their attacking options after struggling for goals this season, with Mario Balotteli, Daniel Sturridge and Rickie Lambert scoring 12 combined this season.
