Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela has revealed that he has no intention of leaving the English Premier League side this summer, amid rumours of a transfer to Serie A giants Inter.
The 23-year-old Argentinian international has struggled in England since making a move from Roma in August 2013 for a fee of €30 million, and despite rampant reports he is set for a return to Italy, Lamela has poured cold water on those rumours.
“I see myself here at Tottenham,” Lamela told FoxSports.
“These questions about my future are starting to become a habit, but the truth is that I am happy here and I want to continue playing for the Spurs again next season.”
Lamela has made a total of 59 appearances for Tottenham since joining the club, netting six goals and assisting another 13 across all competitions.
The young starlet has also collected 10 starts for the Argentinian national team, having one international goal under his belt.
