Miguel Britos - NapoliNapoli defender Miguel Britos has received a three match ban after headbutting Juventus striker Alvaro Morata during Saturday evening’s Serie A clash at Juventus Stadium.

The 29-year-old was punished at the time as the referee showed the former Bologna defender a straight red card and awarded the Bianconeri a penalty. Simone Pepe converted the penalty to secure a 3-1 victory for Juventus.

The Lega Serie A has taken swift action, banning the Uruguayan for three matches for his act of violent conduct. Britos will now miss the Partenopei’s crucial final league game against Lazio this weekend and will also carry his suspension into next season.

Juventus have also been fined €15,000 as a result of chants “expressive of discrimination on the grounds of territorial origin” during the same match.
