After their 1-0 win over Cagliari, Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini has promised that his side will finish the season as strongly as possible and also confirmed that striker Paulo Dybala looks set to join Juventus.

Iachini was pleased with his side’s victory, but called for his side not to relax between now and the end of the season.

“People said after last week’s game against Atalanta that we were on holiday already,” Iachini told Sky Sport.

“We just happened to be unlucky last week, the boys deserve to end the season on a high and today we took risks but we got the result.”

With speculation around the futures of Paulo Dybala and match-winner Franco Vazquez, Iachini confirmed that Dybala was close to moving to Juventus but that talks with Vazquez will be ongoing at the end of the season.

“Franco’s future is uncertain; he will speak with the club soon as we want to keep him, so we will see,” Iachini said.

“As for Dybala he is now a Juventus player and the club have accepted that; we are now looking towards the future.”
