Marisa Alija, agent of Santos forward Robinho, has revealed that her client will be freed from his contract with AC Milan at the end of June.

The Rossoneri have still been paying 40 per cent of the 31-year-old’s wages since he returned to the Peixe on loan last summer, though it’s apparent that the Brazilian could be on the verge of signing a permanent deal with Santastico now that his contract dilemma with the Diavolo has been resolved.

Alija spoke to Lancenet about Robinho’s current situation with Santos and AC Milan and confirmed that the agreement to terminate his deal with the Italian club has been satisfactory for both sides.

“It’s all true, I was already negotiating to have his contract ended for quite some time,” said the agent.

“This resolution was able to satisfy both parties. He has a contract that ends in June, so he will be free this summer.”
