Roma players are reported to have criticized coach Rudi Garcia after their 2-1 loss away to AC Milan in Serie A on Saturday evening.

The Giallorossi suffered their fifth league defeat of the season against the Rossoneri and remain just one point ahead of city rivals Lazio for second place with three games remaining.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the relationship between the players and coach has continued to deteriorate after the 51-year-old tactician bemoaned his side’s attitude at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

A number of first-team players are believed to been critical of Garcia off the record in response to his decision to play Seydou Doumbia, Victor Ibarbo, Gervinho, Adem Ljajic and Miralem Pjanic when all were carrying knocks.

Complaints have also been made about a lack of organization on the pitch as well as a lack of direction given towards the younger players, who are thought to not be developing as quickly they should.

The club hierarchy has noted these concerns with Alex Zecca acting as a supervisor for president James Pallotta to monitor further developments.
