Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni expects his team to be at their best when they face Champions League chasing Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

It’s not been a memorable season that has left the Zebrette nearer the relegation battle than the hunt for Europe.

As they prepare for their trip south to the capital on Sunday night though, Stramaccioni is determined to finish the season as best they can.

“Sunday we will face one of the sides still with something to fight for,” the 39-year-old told the press

“We will be motivated to give our best as we do not want to give anything to anyone.

“We have worked intensely all week and we are ready for the match.”

Udinese have been slightly better on their travels after three defeats in their last four while having suffered just one lose in five on the road.

Antonio Di Natale has scored three in as many games  as the 37-year-old surpassed Roberto Baggio in the all-time charts with 207 Serie A goals, most of them for the Bianconeri.

However, Udinese could to be without their talisman for the meeting with Roma with the striker to be evaluated.

“He [Di Natale] is struggling with an abdominal problem,” said Stramaccioni.

“It will be a blow if he doesn’t make the match but if not we will make sure he is ready for our match with Sassuolo next week”.
