Roma defender Vasilis Torosidis has said the victory against Udinese is the most important.

The Giallorossi defeated the Zebrette 2-1 on Sunday night in Serie A, in which Torosidis got the winning goal to get the side three points, but the Greek international is not taking any credit for the win.

“It does not matter who scores, the important thing is the three points,” the 29-year-old told the press.

“The goal was a bit lucky, but the three points are what’s important.

“It was a tough game and we managed to win.”

The Roma player also said that the team are now looking ahead to their next fixture against cross-city rivals Lazio, in a match which could decide who gets second place at the end of the current Serie A season.

“We now want to beat Lazio to make sure of second place.”
