AC Milan are looking to reinforce their forward line with the signing of sought-after Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca.

The Colombian international is currently away on international duty at the Copa America, but that hasn’t stopped speculation linking the highly-rated poacher with several clubs, including Roma and Liverpool.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani is pushing to secure the 28-year-old’s signature in a determined effort to provide new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic with significant firepower ahead of the new Serie A season.

With Bacca’s countryman Jackson Martinez expected to shun a move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in favour of a switch to Atletico Madrid instead, the pressure is on to find a suitable alternative.

Bacca struck an impressive 28 goals in 56 appearances across all competitions last term, as the Rojiblancos retained their Europa League crown.
