Sevilla star Kevin Gameiro is another striker on the shortlist at AC Milan, as the Serie A side continue their hunt for new acquisitions.

Offensive strengthening seems to be a summer priority at the Stadio Meazza, with Porto star Jackson Martinez thought to be close to completing a move, while current Paris Saint-Germain talisman and former Rossonero Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also a top target for vice-president Adriano Galliani.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Milanese club are also keeping tabs on 28-year-old French international Gameiro, but have yet to make a firm offer for the diminutive forward.

A deal for the player isn’t expected to be a difficult one to negotiate, due to the fact he wasn’t considered a first-team regular last term.

He was injured at the beginning of the campaign, which meant that he started only seven La Liga matches following an October return.

Even so, the ex-Strasbourg and PSG man still produced eight league strikes, while plundering four as Sevilla lifted the Europa League trophy, plus a further five in the Copa del Rey.
