AC Milan have reached an agreement with Carlos Bacca to bring the player to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza next season, and will now enter further negotiations with Sevilla.

The Colombian holds a €30 million price tag that the Rossoneri would like to lower with the inclusion of Adil Rami in the potential deal, who is valued at €7 million by Milan, but that is considered an excessive amount by the Spanish side.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan completed a successful meeting with the player’s agent and entourage to make him a part of the club’s resurgence to success, but will have another hurdle ahead as they enter into negotiations with Sevilla over a transfer fee.

His agent Sergio Barila told MilanNews.it: “I can confirm the player and Milan have reached an agreement.

“Carlos has chosen what is best for his future and it is normal for him to be happy.”

It is thought Bacca has agreed a five-year deal with the Rossoneri with an annual salary in the region of €3m.

The 28-year-old scored 34 goals in 71 games for Sevilla and played two straight Europa League winning seasons, scoring twice in the 2015 final.
