Gonzalo Higuain NapoliAfter having seemingly missed out on a host of signings, Italian side AC Milan is set to rock Serie A by making a huge offer for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The Rossoneri are still reeling from failing to land Geoffrey Kondogbia, who decided to join city rivals Inter earlier this week, and are now looking to do something to show fans that they still have the power to attract big name players.

According to QS, Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi is set to personally make a bid to the Partenopei of around €60 million to trigger the Argentine’s release clause on his contract and tempt El Pipita to join the Milan-based outfit.

Higuain, considered by many as one of the finest strikers in Serie A, has been a massive success since arriving in Naples from Real Madrid in 2013.  In 69 Serie A appearances, the forward has managed to hit the back of the net on 35 occasions.
