Barcelona right-back Dani Alves is demanding a massive wage package in order to join AC Milan.
The 32 year-old Brazilian international has recently won the treble with the Catalan giants, lifting the Champions League, Copa del Rey and La Liga trophies.
Now it seems Alves is preparing for a new challenge as Sky Sport Italia have revealed his requested €6m wage demand, which would make him the highest earner at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Milan have been forced to reduce spending in recent years due to a lack of funds, making Philippe Mexes the highest earner on €4m.
Alves is currently earning €7m a season at the Camp Nou, with both Manchester clubs prepared to match the Brazilian’s current deal.
However the Rossoneri have been buoyed by comments made by Alves, where he’s expressed a desire to make the switch to Italy.
The Rossoneri have yet to renew the contract of Ignazio Abate suggesting they are keen on bringing in Alves as a replacement.
