Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade admitted his eagerness to offload Lazio target Alexandre Pato.

The former AC Milan striker joined Corinthians back in 2013, who sent him out on loan to Sao Paulo last season.

Lazio have been linked with an interest and a potential move for the Brazilian, but with nothing yet confirmed.

Sport Mediaset reported that, according to Andrade, Corinthians would be ready and willing to sell Pato but simply awaiting for Lazio to pull the trigger.

“At this point, no one is against it [the sale of Pato],” said Andrade.

“Everyone knows that we [Corinthians] pray night and day for his sale.”

Pato made 32 appearances for Sao Paulo last season, scoring 11 goals in the process. During his initial stint with Corinthians the season prior, the 25-year-old scored nine goals in 30 appearances.
