Gonzalo Bergessio has had swipe at outgoing Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic claiming he did not make him feel important.
Bergessio himself will be leaving Sampdoria after mutually terminating his contract with the club and the player is unsure of his future.
“I was not at ease at Sampdoria because Mihajlovic did not make me feel important,” Bergessio told Tuttomercatoweb.com
“Therefore I decided to leave as it was best for both myself and the club.
“I tried to give my best for the team but sometimes in football things just don’t work out.
“The transfer market has just opened so I am not sure where I will go but I will not return to Argentina.
“I have proven myself capable of playing in Italy as my time at Catania showed so I will remain in Serie A.
“Lazio are a great team, who wouldn’t want to play for them?”
