Serie A newcomers Bologna are preparing moves for the Juventus duo of Angelo Ogbonna and Luca Marrone, as the Rossoblu look to bolster their squad for the top flight.

Bologna secured their top flight status for next season after triumphing in the play-off final against Pescara, making an immediate return to Serie A and they are now looking to strengthen with the addition of the marginalised Bianconeri pair of Ogbonna and Marrone.

Sky Sport Italia had previously reported that the 27-year-old Ogbonna was at the top of the Rossoblu’s wishlist for the summer with the club having already made an offer for the defender. Marrone, 25, on the other hand, has endured an injury hit time in Turin and Bologna are keen to land the midfielder on loan.

Ogbonna has struggled to break into the starting XI on a regular basis since joining from cross city rivals Torino in 2013, whereas Marrone has been stifled by injury, making just a handful of appearances for the club.
