Bonucci ready to sign contract extension with Juventus

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci is on the verge of signing a new contract with the Bianconeri that would see him remain with the club until 2019.

The Italian international has been ever present for the Bianconeri this season as the club came close to capturing a Treble before losing 3-1 to Barcelona in the Champions League final, and it appears Bonucci will commit his future to Juventus.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Bonucci will sign a contract that will see him call the Juventus Stadium home until 2019 with a salary of €4 million a year plus bonuses.

The former Bari player is currently on international duty with Italy but will sign the new contract once he returns to Turin.

Bonucci has been at Juventus for since 2010 and has made over 160 appearances for the Bianconeri during that time.
