Claudio Caniggia has given Juventus his vote of confidence ahead of the Champions League Final in Berlin against Barcelona, additionally identifying the players who he believes will be key to the match.

The former Serie A regular will be backing La Vecchia Signora in the highly anticipated clash, believing their success so far in the competition speaks volumes of their ability and should not be underestimated.

“It’s a game of ninety minutes but Juventus can win,” The Argentine told TodoMercadoWeb.es.

“They [Juventus] managed to beat Real Madrid [in the Semi Finals] and whoever can beat Madrid is definitely capable of winning the final.

“Of course Barcelona’s attacking three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar can change any game, but if their midfield leaves any room for the likes of [Carlos] Tevez, [Alvaro] Morata and Paul Pogba then they will pay dearly.

“Tevez can be the star of the game for sure, someone like him can decide the outcome of a game by himself.

Briefly shifting focus from the final, Caniggia concluded upon the recent transfer of fellow Argentine Paulo Dybala, who completed a move to the Bianconeri at the start of the month.

“He’s a boy with a huge amount of technical skill,” He said.

“He’s a great striker who has adapted really well to Italian football in order to prove his skills. He will do well at Juventus.”
