coach has looked back at his first year as coach of the Azzurri, stating he wants his players to be ambitious as they look to qualify for the 2016 European Championship.

“Certainly it has been an intense year for me as I have always been a coach, and becoming the CT was a big change.

“It is one thing to have players available to you to coach them everyday, it is another to do the work we do with the national team.

“But it has been a great experience in every regard even if there is a lot of work to do. We have the goal of qualifying and in this upcoming year we will look to bring more experience to the players.”
