Everton have penciled in Juventus’ Angelo Ogbonna at the top of their wish list for the summer transfer window.

Ogbonna has already been the subject of interest from other Premier League sides, with Southampton and Aston Villa also vying for the centre-back’s signature.

Everton coach Roberto Martinez would have earmarked Ogbonna as a top priority, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The English media add that Crystal Palace’s Scott Dann would be another player being monitored, but with Martinez stressing the 27-year-old defender remains his first-choice.

Ogbonna arrived at Juventus in 2013 from crosstown rivals Torino. Last season, the Italian centre-back made 26 appearances in all competitions for the Bianconeri.
