Fiorentina captain Manuel Pasqual has said he is happy with what the team has achieved this season.
La Viola ended the 2014-15 Serie A campaign with a 3-0 win at home to Chievo which means they finished in fourth place in the league table, securing qualification for next year’s Europa League, and Pasqual said he is pleased with the way the season has panned out for the club.
“We have claimed fourth place for the third consecutive year,” the 33-year-old told the press.
“We did a good job throughout, and from tomorrow the club will look towards the future.”
Pasqual was also one of the 34 players called up to Antonio Conte’s national squad for the upcoming European Championship qualifier against Croatia and the friendly against Portugal, and he said he wants to play as much as possible.
“I hope to play in both the fixtures.”
