Fiorentina have made on-loan Chelsea star Mohamed Salah a crazy offer to stay in Florence, says club manager Vincenzo Guerini.

The 23-yer-old joined Fiorentina in January on-loan as part of the deal with took Juan Cuadrado to Stamford Bridge. La Viola have the option to extend the deal for another year, with the option to buy Salah outright at the end of next season, though the player has yet to agree to the move.

As a result, Inter, Juventus and Roma are all monitoring the player’s situation with the Nerazzurri having presented an offer to the Egyptian.

“I can tell the fans that the club have made Salah a crazy offer,” Guerini told the press.

“If any player, not just Salah, turned down a proposal like that, then it would be best if he didn’t stay at Fiorentina. However, I think Salah will accept.

“He made a huge impact with us, so it’s normal that other offers are coming in. He wants to earn more, but Fiorentina made a truly important proposal.

“It really would be a pity to lose him. He was happy with us last season. He was always smiling and was never late, so I am confident he will stay.”

It is thought Fiorentina have offered Salah around €3 million a year, plus bonuses, to stay, a figure that would make him the club’s second highest paid player behind Mario Gomez who earns €4.25m a season.

Salah made 16 Serie A appearances last season, bagging six goals and another three assists.
